How choose a SUP paddle;
How do I find the correct height for my SUP paddle?
A general rule is to have the paddle 6 to 10 inches taller than your head. Try the "Hands-Up" method: Stand the paddle on the ground and reach one arm straight up. The handle (T-grip) should rest comfortably in your palm or at your wrist crease.
Should I choose an Aluminium, Fibreglass, or Carbon paddle?
Aluminium (like the Spinera Classic) is durable and budget-friendly. Fibreglass (like the Aquaglide Focus) is lighter and has a "flex" that is easier on your joints. Carbon is the "pro" choice; it’s incredibly light and stiff, which significantly reduces shoulder fatigue on long trips.
